The Moon peaked at 431am on the 02nd of August (where I am, in Naarm/Melbourne).
I honour the Full Moon across the three nights although I would regard last night as it’s peak, on the same day as traditional Imbolc celebrations (Southern Hemisphere).
I don’t celebrate The Quickening until the astrological date, which comes this year on August the 08th, at 421 in the morning.
Given that’s a Tuesday this year, I will probably get up to greet the dawn, which is something I aim to do every day, but any other celebrations will be on the weekend either side, as I work a Monday – Friday week currently.
Full Moon Honouring
Mysterious Illumination, I honour you.
You who transform darkness into light,
Even as, in all your glory, the Moon is full, so too, might I be illuminated.
Full Moon, change in me what changes in you,
Guide me through High Tides,
Grace me with Light, Guidance, and your blessings.
Full Moon, may I glimpse mystery, may I embrace the strength and wisdom of illumination,
and the deep, ancient, transformative powers of knowledge;
like all those who have gone before me;
guided by your light, and celebrating your gentle brilliance.
I dare to dwell in beauty, harmony, and delight,
I dare to see with clear eyes, and an open heart.
I honour the Mysterious Ones,
Both Above, and Below,
Both Within, and Without,
Known and Unknown.
I honour The Guides, and the Guardians,
Past, Present, and Future,
Known and Unknown.
I honour myself, the work I have done, and will do.
Mysterious Illumination,
Full Moon,
Empower me to manifest your divine Beauty and Grace
In my words, thoughts, actions, body and face.
I honour you.
