Thursday 03rd June 2021 – the worst meltdown
The worst meltdown There were lots of tears and various minor meltdowns throughout this whole experience. Honestly, they still happen. But this was the worst meltdown. How do you tell your work colleagues you have cancer? I'm interested in any strategies that other people have used to tell work colleagues about a cancer diagnosis. Meeting my plastic surgeon My younger sibling had returned and was stuck in quarantine due to the lockdown becoming more restrictive. They were still able to attend with me by phone. Advocate I'm going to take a moment to say how important it is to have someone else attend your appointments. What I shared on Facebook on Friday 28th May 2021 as my Cancer Journal Number 7. These cancer journals were my ongoing strategy of keeping people up to date without having to share the same information again and again. I would write, and then I would get specific friends to act as beta readers, and that was helpful.
