Annnddddd… it’s December! What happened to November???
If my last list from my Twitter Daily Gratitude Practice could have the subtitle of “Ode to a Hot Water Service” – this one, covering the last two weeks could be called “Cellulitis Odyssey” 😂
One blog / website related thing that I am grateful for is achieving 200 likes here!

Daily Gratitude Practice
- Wind chimes : You can never have too many! They always lift my heart.
- The ability to pay my rent.
- Grateful to have a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and enough to pay the bills. So many people struggle to make ends meet, especially at this time of year – it’s easy to take for granted, but it is a huge point of gratitude for me, as there have been times when I have only just scrapped by through the generosity of loved ones.
- Walks beside the sea – with marvellous company, enjoying stimulating conversation. Even if I did get a parking fine because I lost track of time!
- Wonderful friends.
- Beautiful Sunsets
- LUSH Bath bombs: Metamorphosis: Relaxation & self-care are really important – however that looks for you. For me, bath bombs & facials at home are real indulgences.
Cellulitis Odyssey
- Health
- Recovery from Cellulitis!
- Wonderfully weird stories like Antler Guy, like the grandma & the demon, like the sandwiches and the demon, and angels..
- Medicare
- Bulkbilling
- Medical Clinics that accept walk-ins
- Antibiotics
- Anti-inflammatory medication
- Sick Leave
- Colleagues who are nurses who can spot things that are NQR (Not Quite Right)
- Team Leaders who are concerned.
POST (little) 250 km / 44 mile ROAD TRIP
- Freedom to travel safety
- Good roads
- My faithful chariot (my car)
- Independence to travel / live freely
- Feminism: This might sound odd.. but there are countries where until recently, woman have not had the option of driving, and it wasn’t that long ago that many of the things I take for granted were either not legal possibilities for women, or were socially or culturally taboo: sometimes just for woman, and in some cases, it was a more universal taboo.
